Pictureless Weekend

We had such a fun weekend and I have no idea what is wrong with me and my picture taking lately, but I didn't take any. Saturday, we woke up to snow here, so we thought we would get out of the snow and head South. Well the further we got, the more snow there was. When we got to St. George, it was still cold, but only raining. We had a great day though. We took the kids to Pirate Island Pizza and the Dinosaur Museum. Saturday night we took the kids to Maggie Moo's for some icecream.

Sunday, Chantry went snowmobiling, so I headed to Richfield with the kiddos. I hadn't been to Richfield since Christmas, so it was nice. I spent the day with my sister, Sarah, which was much needed and long overdue. We used to spend soooo much time together and I have missed it. I just might have to plan a few more random visits soon to see her again. Plus, Channer and Chestyn LOVED playing with their cousins.

It was a great weekend. Now, I am on the countdown until our girls trip to Park City in a couple weekends.

Busy, busy, busy!!

I feel like I have been so busy lately, I don't even have time to breathe, let alone blog. I really have not had a ton to blog about though anyway. A couple of weeks ago, I had some stuff happen with my job and long story short, they gave me a couple weeks to find different doctors and a different company. I have just this past week started with two new companies, plus working for Kathy, who I used to work for a while back (thanks Kathy for working with me). It has been really frustrating, but I know everyhing happens for a reason, so I am just trying to stay positive about the future.

Chantry brought me home these BEAUTIFUL flowers one day because I was having a bad day. I know I have mentioned it before, but I love, love, love flowers out of the blue for no reason. They are okay to get on Valentines, anniversary, birthday, etc, but when I get them just because I am having a bad day, they mean the world to me. Chantry is so good at surpising me and making me feel special.
I do feel bad because I have been so busy that I did not even give my husband the proper birthday shout out. I usually blog some romantic thing, but I didn't even tell him happy birthday on the blog. So, happy birthday honey. You really are the greatest. I could count the ways, but people do not have all day to read our blog. Thanks for being the best husband and daddy anyone could hope for.

We did have a fun birthday get-away for him. We had a weekend away in Mesquite with a few friends of ours. It was a lot of fun. Marcia came and watched the kids. They didn't even miss us a bit because Grandma spoiled them rotten. For some reason when my kids are not around, I don't take pictures, so I do not have any pics of the fun time we had in Mesquite. We do have some great friends though that joined us, so thanks guys! We played some Bingo, went to a comedy show, gambled, and ate of course. It was nice to have time with Chantry alone for his birthday.

The boys are getting more and more fun everyday. They get along pretty well for the most part. Their highlight of the day is when dad gets home. Still same old, they hide, Chantry finds them, etc. Too cute though. Sometimes makes me wish I went to work everyday just to come home and see their cute faces. Ok, not really I LOVE being home with them.

They are getting huge though. Channer has grown out of all of his 4T stuff, which makes me sad, because now he is in the "bigger" kid section. Chestyn is wearing 2T and 3T stuff. YIKES! Where are my babies? I took these pictures a few days ago. Channer and Chestyn both wanted to wear "punge bob" (as Chestyn would say) jammies. Channer has two pair, so they both wore his.

I am five weeks into my Healthy Habits Challenge. This is the longest I have ever stuck with a diet in my life, no lie. I do cheat on the weekends, but that seems to be what my key is to long-term. I am losing 1 to 3 pounds a week, just like I want to. Usually I go hard core for 2 weeks with no cheating and then cheat once and call it over. This time, I realize I can cheat "a little" and still go back hard core during the week. I was not in the top 12 when they posted last week, but I feel really good about what I have lost. I have been doing 6-week six pack 3 times a week, Zumba 3 days a week, and any other workout I can fit in. I watch American Idol or Desperate Housewives and will jog, do jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups through the entire episode. I went running the other morning and was quite surprised that I was pretty much where I left off last summer with running. I was plenty sore the next day, but it was nice. I am hoping the weather will be nice enough to get some more running in (yes, I am a fair-weathered runner).
I have to keep asking myself how I got so lucky to have such great guys in my life. Channer and Chestyn are soooo good. I may get a little upset from time to time at the "kid" things they do, but really at the end of the day, they are perfect. Chantry is PERFECT!! Seriously, he is so supportive of anything I do. He makes me feel like I am wonderful, especially when I am doubting myself. So lucky to have 3 perfect boys!! We celebrated Valentines Day by waiting for dad to get home, had dinner (nothing special), delivered some Valentines and gave each other ours. Channer loved his Cars and Chestyn his Elmo. They are spoiled rotten, but well worth it.
