19 inches

Our baby girl made her appearance on Monday, September 24th.  She is absolutely perfect and we are just loving her!!!!

Chantry and I have a bad habit of falling asleep on the couch and then later going into our room.  Sunday night was no different.  We fell asleep on the couch and about 12:10 we woke up to go into bed.  I went in to use the bathroom and then on my way to the bed, my water broke.  It was new to me, as with my other two I started contracting and my water didn't break.  Even though for about 2 weeks I had been telling baby girl to come, it still took me by surprise.  I was only a week early, but it didn't seem real.  With my boys, I went clear til my due date.

Anyway, we called my sister in law, Ginger, to come be with the boys, and we were off to the hospital.

When I got to the hospital, I was at a 4.  It went by so fast to me.  We had her about 6 hours later, but the time just flew after I got my epidural of course.  I had to push for quite a while, but it was because she was turned and every time the doctor would get her turned, she would flip back...but before I knew it, I was holding my beautiful baby girl.

There were several other babies born the same morning.  It was a VERY busy day at the hospital.  My doc delivered 3 that morning and I know there were quite a few others.

Meeting Grandpa

My mother in law drove right over and was at the hospital when Randilyn was born, then she went to my house so that Ginger could go home and she took care of my boys the rest of the time I was in the hospital.  She brought them to meet their new baby sister after Channer got out of school.

The boys just love her!! Channer was a little reserved at first, but has not stopped wanting to love on her since.  Chestyn of course started talking to her right off.

We were in the hospital about 24 hours and they said we could go home and I was ready!!

Ready to go home and looks sooo tiny in her car seat.

My mom and Sarah met us right when were getting home.
She had a little bit of jaundice and had to be under the lights for one day...luckily only one day.  She actually really liked the lights, but I didn't..I wanted to hold her and snuggle her.
Channer had to hold her for a second before I put her in the lights every time.
We are absolutely loving her!! I can't even explain how much.  It is crazy that when you think your heart is just full and there is no more room for any more love, your heart just grows and they fit right in.

The first few days Chestyn would say "You're making me nervous" every time she would cry (like he even knows what that means and I don't know where he would come up with it).

Channer would seriously hold her all day if I let him.  He has been such a great helper.  He gets whatever I need and has even helped me do laundry.  He told me "Mom, if you put some laundry in the washer, I will put them in the dryer when they are done" So sweet!

Not a fan of tummy time

So far, she is such a sweet easy going.  I will not count my chickens too soon though.  Chantry has had all week off and been soooo helpful.  I started back to work on Wednesday and all has gone well.  I am scared for Monday and being on my own, but I know it will all work out.  As far as first weeks go, she has been my easiest, but I think it is because I am not so uptight.

A big thanks to all my friends and family for helping with the boys, coming to visit, gifts, and providing us with meals.  My mother in law filled our freezer before she headed home. We are so lucky to have such great friends and family that brought us food...and my boss even sent us a delicious meal clear from Florida.  I feel sooooo blessed!! How could I not?? I now have THREE perfect kids!!! Yikes...can't believe I am a mom to three!
