9 months old!!!

Yes, it is true...9 months! Oh my gosh this girl is getting even more fun.  Even though she is my third, you forget all the fun stages they go through, and although she does a few little things that are "her own" she does so many things that bring the memories of my boys flooding back.

Work is getting hard.  She is busy.  While she still doesn't full on crawl, she gets around and so I have to be careful where I sit her, but seriously she is a pretty good babe.  She will sit right next to me for a good hour until I get up to help the boys or go to the bathroom, then she throws a fit...

Even though it may be challenging at times, I absolutely LOVE being able to work from home.  I know I have said it a million times, but just these little pictures of her working by me make me realize just what I would be missing if I worked outside the home.

This is Randilyn outside realizing her dad is home...he turned on the sprinklers before coming to her and she is dying for him to come get her...
She still has those cheeks...oh the cheeks.  I love smooching on them and pinching them and that is the first compliment anyone gives when they see her...the cheeks....

This is one of my favorites...I love when Randilyn puts her legs behind her when she plays and looks like a little froggy!

She really is happy and content for the most part and is to the point that she thrives on a schedule.  She kinda gets mad when it is thrown off and her nap is interrupted.

She loves Channer and Chestyn.  They are such big helpers to me while I work too.  They will entertain her and read to her and play with her for a few minutes while I get some reports done.
I have said for months that Randilyn was teething and this month her gums were very red and sore and all she wanted was popsicles.  I started making our own with just water and a little food color and some juice ones or Crystal Light.  She loves them!!

And finally yesterday (on her 9-month) birthday she cut her first tooth....and this morning it looks like the other bottom front has cut through too...so by her 10-month post hopefully she will have those two cute pearly whites on bottom.
I switch it up once in a while and work in the living room...it gives Randilyn a little more freedom and a new environment.

I let her celebrate her 9-month birthday with some Oreo cookies....as you can tell, she loved them...
She is finally on a consistent schedule this month.  2-hour nap at 10:00 and a 2-hour nap at 3:00....or at least that is most days.  She likes her crib but still struggles to go bed at night sometimes...i think she just likes that extra time with mom and dad at night and she plays us well....she cries, we get her out and cuddle, put her back in her crib...she cries we get her out and cuddle, put her back in the crib...this usually happens 4 or 5 time before we get her to stay.  I am not gonna lie, I love it (except on the occasional night when I am really tired and would prefer her to go to sleep ;).

She is finally getting hair...not enough to do anything with, but its hair and maybe, just maybe by her first birthday I might get a ponytail in.  For now, we still love the big bows and headbands.  Some people ask how she leaves them alone...but I think it is because she honestly has not had a day of her life without one and so it doesn't bother her.

She is still a good eater.  She is only saying three words....mama, dada and more.  She says more when she is eating and wants more.  Cutest thing ever.  Chantry has some videos on his phone of her saying it and I will have to upload one.

Oh how I love this girl and her goofy personality.  She is so much fun!!!

Happy 9-months little angel girl!!!

Father's Day Weekend...

Chantry and I had been itching for a camping trip and Chantry had said that is what he wanted to do for Father's Day.  So when the Veater's invited us to go camping that weekend, we were excited. It has been over a year since we have gotten our kids together to play and I was worried that my boys would be left out...but nope.  Ryann and Brodi and Channer and Chestyn started right where they left off and all the kids got along so well.  It ended up being Sandy and Tawnya and family, Brook and Chris and their adorable girl Emerson, Lauren and Matt and their kids, Chantell and her boyfriend, Joe, and Ang and Jason and cute little Sadie came up for the day on Saturday.

We got there Friday pretty late, so just had enough time to set up camp and visit around the camp fire.

Saturday, Tawnya had brought fun activities for the kids.  They had fun painting rocks and wood...

The adults enjoyed some horseshoes, even I took a turn at it...and while I am not very good...it was still fun.

Randilyn enjoyed being spoiled and eating junk.  I tried to keep her out of the heat and sun as much as possible, but she still managed to get some...

The kids played horseshoes and bean bag toss...

Randilyn was SOOO dirty the whole time, good thing we had a trailer with a bath cause she needed it a couple times.

 and she loved it....

I have about a million pictures of the kids playing red rover...but they were just too cute playing and I couldn't help myself...

And this little adorable Emerson, who is 2 months old, was such a trooper on her first camping trip...she even tented it.

We stayed up late on Saturday visiting around the fire again...had breakfast Sunday morning and then it was time to pack and go home.  I love to camp and I am definitely ready for some more...

and a big HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to the best dad and husband there is!!! We sure do love him and hope his silly bag of gifts we got him made it special.
