10 months!!

Another month gone....and this one has been a fun one.  It was seriously like BAM and Randilyn was doing so many fun new things all at once.  It makes me sad, but she is definitely getting more and more fun by the minute.

She is actually playing "with" her brothers.  She will sit and play cars with them, or act like a puppy....

or walks Chestyn around like he is a dog...

She is in love with bath time and screams when I take her out....

I think last month she was more scooting and just starting to crawl...well this month she crawls so fast and I can't keep up with her.  She is pulling herself up on furniture and standing for short periods of time....
She wants so badly to be like her brothers and if they leave the door open for even a second...she finds her way out...

She is going to be no different than the boys when it comes to fighting.  She already loves dad to get on the ground and she crawls all over him and fights in her own little way...

Randilyn loves dogs.  At the Gleave reunion she wanted every dog to come by her and she would scream when it left.  Grandpa said he was going to get her a puppy.  I threatened that he better never! I thought it was absolutely adorable when he brought over a remote control puppy and said he went to the Wal Mart pound and got her a puppy....

I really didn't take a ton of pictures this month of Randilyn and the ones I did get are blurry because she NEVER holds still...

and once again, if the door is left open for even a second...she is out....
Poor girl always wants out...and will sit by this door and just wait for someone to accidentally leave it open...

I am in hopes that she will be like her brothers and love books...but so far, she just wants to eat them or rip them....and pull them off the bookshelf.... and scatter them all over the house...

and I try to always put pants on her because if I don't her poor knees get raw ...but she always manages to crawl out of them...
She is clapping her hands...and it is adorable.
Still a big eater...and eats a lot.  Unfortunately my boys introduced her to pop tarts and she wants them all the time now. They are messy and not healthy but she loves them.
She loves her crib.  If we get her tired enough, she actually looks forward to going in there to bed.  If I try to put her to bed too early or before she is tired, she plays her game of coming out about 3 times before staying in.  She wakes up and I can hear her talking and playing in her crib for about 15-20 mins before I actually get her or before she cries.
She does this thing that is my new favorite...I ask her for loves and she won't give them to me...but if I pretend to cry and be sad, she gives me all the hugs I want.  I do it a lot...cause I love her hugs.  If she hurts me by pulling my hair or clawing, I pretend to cry too and she loves me all better.  :)
She gives kisses and they are the cutest ever! If you ask her for a kiss, you usually get about 10.  I even got her to blow them with her hand the other day while looking in the mirror, but haven't gotten her to do it since.

She has us all wrapped around her little finger.  She screams...loud! and gets whatever she wants that way.  While we are probably not setting good habits for the future, I figure she is just a babe now and you can't ever spoil them too much right.  Even the boys hand her whatever she wants even if they are playing with it...

Like I say...she just keeps getting more fun every single day.  I really need to record how excited she gets when dad comes home, it is too darn cute!

Chores

I decided to start doing chore charts with the kids.  I gave Chestyn very easy ones like...make sure all the shoes are put away, wipe the light switches and door handles with Clorox wipes, wipe the couch down with a Clorox wipe.  I gave Channer a little harder ones like....take out the garbage, make sure the kitchen table is always cleaned off, dust the living room.  And both of them have make their bed, reading for 30 mins, outdoor exercise for 30 mins, brush teeth twice a day (I know that shouldn't be a chore, but we struggle doing it twice a day).  The first day was AMAZING!! Both boys were so eager to do their chores and were running around like mad getting them done.  Second day, Chestyn did half and said he was too worn out.  Third day, I barely got Chestyn to put all the shoes away.

We are now 4 weeks into our chore chart and if I am lucky Chestyn will do one or two chores a week.  I know I should make him, but he is difficult.  CHANNER! On the other hand.  He is a rock star! I totally underestimated the things he can do.  He takes the garbage out like a pro and puts a new bag in.  Makes his bed, dusts the living room, cleans the table, helps me with the laundry and he is still eager to do it and he is getting better and better each day.  I think I may have to switch his chores up a little bit and give him some harder stuff ;) Oh...and the best part is...I don't even have to ask him to do it.  He starts them the second he is done with breakfast!

Friday is pay day! I skipped last week...but yesterday, we went to Maverik and got a treat and I got them their money.  Channer earned $1 (and that was being nice) and Channer earned $10 (that was probably underpaid).  The week before when I paid them, Channer wanted it all in quarters.  This week he wanted dollars.

Oh and you gotta love Chestyn's shirt on backwards that he refused to switch and that 'Chuck Liddell' haircut he has going on.

Boy camp out :)

I am late blogging about this, but just realized I never did.

The boys wanted to do a backyard camp out this summer, so I told them invite some friends and let's do it!!

They invited Logan, Weston, Stetson, Braxton, Kai and Skyler.  With Channer and Chestyn, that made for 8 little boys.  I got a little nervous as their parents were dropping them off because it was a first-time sleepover for 4 of the 6 kids.

It ended up being an absolute blast! I think I may have had more fun than they did. :)

We were going to roast hot dogs, but it was windy, so Chantry BBQd them :)

 We painted...

We played a couple "candy" games....

We through snap-its....

We played night games like freeze tag, capture the flag, rotten eggs, red light green light....

We played games with glow sticks and flash lights...

The wind died down and we roasted marshmallows and made s'mores...

Chy and Chantell stopped by to see just how much fun we were having...

 We got wild...and crazy...

And when it was time for bed, I was a little worried....but we got all the beds laid out, along with Chantry's...He is such a great sport (it was either that or get up with the baby haha)....

and guess what???? They all went to sleep like little angels.  I wore them out (as well as them me) and it helped because I actually had to wake them up to go home the next morning.

We really had such a great time and call me crazy, but I might try to fit one more in before the summer is over...maybe!

Oh and I must add that I heard at least a dozen times throughout the night from each of the boys "This is the best night ever" "This is the coolest sleepover ever" "This is the best day of my life" and similar other things...makes it all worth it :)
