Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas this year.  I am including a few other things in this post because I want to print it with my blog book to be included in 2014.  So the weekend before Christmas, we went for a fun jeep ride up Cedar Mountain and found a little snow.

Chantry brought Randilyn and I poinsettias home from work one day....  Totally made Randilyn's and my day.
Grandma came over the Tuesday before Christmas and took the whole family bowling.  It was so fun to get together with the whole family.  The kids loved it. Not only did grandma pay for us all to go bowling and eat dinner, she gave the kids TONS of quarters for their machines. I should have taken more pictures.
Christmas Eve is always so fun.  We do the Brindley family Christmas party.  We get together in the afternoon, eat lots of yummy food, Santa visits and then we open presents.  I did not take a lot of pictures there either, but I did get a picture of most every one on Santa's lap (except Randilyn, she refused).
As we left to go home, I said it did not feel like Christmas because we had no snow.  I said it would be wonderful to wake up to a white Christmas.  This is what I saw when I woke up Christmas morning...  YAY!!! I hate snow, except for on Christmas...  Just something about it brings on the Christmas spirit that much more.

This is what the kids saw when they woke up Christmas morning.  We tried to not do much since we used most of what should have been Christmas money on Disneyland, but they ended up with plenty anyhow...  We are blessed!

It was a late night, so don't mind that Randilyn still has her hair in....  BUT this is how excited she was when she came out and saw her rocking horse.

The boys seemed to like all that they got.  Their personalities are so fun.  Channer was happy, but kind of looking for more.  Chestyn was excited about every little thing he opened, even clothes.  All the kids were actually super excited that Santa brought them their own box of Pop Tarts and Cereal....  So excited that when the boys opened their boxes, Randilyn started throwing a fit saying "where are my Pop Tarts" haha...  So had to help her find a box that might be Pop Tarts too.

Grandma and Grandpa made their rounds with Charla's bunch and the kids always love showing them their load.  Then, the boys could NOT wait any longer to paint their wood cars, so they got right to it.

Then, we headed over to grandpas for breakfast and to hang out with the family.  I had to work and thought there would be no work on Christmas, but there actually was, but thank goodness I can just take my work wherever and I worked from there.  Later that afternoon Dusty's family invited us to go sledding, but it was WAY too cold for us (8 degrees) so we just drove up the mountain to watch them and went for a mountain ride in the snow. I love a snow covered mountain.

It was a very Merry Christmas!!!! I loved it being on Thursday.  Chantry ended up having a 5-day weekend.  Until next year....
