Iron County had their first Snow Day in 61 years. We got dumped on 12-15 inches. I am not a fan of snow, but if it is going to do it, I like it to really do it. The kids stayed home in their PJs all day and watched movies while I worked. Chantry had to finally go buy a snow blower. I tried to shovel, made it about 20 minutes before I was dying and it was barely a dent in our huge driveway.
Channer was chosen in his class to represent the 3rd graders for the school spelling bee. Without even studying, he made it to the top 5. Next year, he says he wants to study and see what happens ;)
He did great though and got out with the word "medicinal"- hard word. I was so proud of him. He is so shy and it was fun to see him in front of others and feeling confident.
Sunday, we headed over and saw Alan and Malia's new home. Very pretty home and the kids had fun playing together.
On the 28th, we met up with Ladd and Maria and their bunch and rode to Toquerville Falls. It was beautiful and we practically had the place to ourselves. Fun day with the family!
